Week Three Recap: A Heroic Blocked Kick turned Crushing Collapse, Jets lose to bucs 29-27
The New York Jets entered Week Three as heavy underdogs facing an undefeated yet injury-riddled Tampa Bay Buccaneers team, led by former Jets head coach Todd Bowles. The Jets will enter Tampa without their starting QB, Justin Fields, as he’s not been cleared from concussion protocol, and QB Tyrod Taylor will finally start at QB after serving as the backup for the past year.
Week One Recap: Rodgers’ Steelers, Steal a Close One from the New Look Jets
Welcome to a new season of Jets football here at the JOSE Channel. After a brief hiatus, we are back to reporting on our beloved Jets. After a Week One contest filled with many ups but ultimately a disappointing down, the season looks to be a hopeful one for the New York Jets.
Is moving on from Aaron Rodgers the best move? Why NOW?
It was reported on Super Bowl Sunday by Jay Glazer and Ian Rapoport that the Jets were moving towards splitting with QB Aaron Rodgers after two seasons. The 41-year-old QB has had quite the tenure with the New York Jets, and the 2023 Offseason Dream of a potential Super Bowl with the ex-Packers QB is now over. The new regime led by GM Darren Mougey and Head Coach Aaron Glenn met with Rodgers last week and told him about his future at One Jets Drive…
Finally the Jets get over the hump: Jets defeat Jaguars 32-25
From Halloween to nearly Christmas week, the Jets have been on a four-game losing streak throughout November and early December. It wasn't enough to close out games even with emerging young talent like LT Olu Fashanu, EDGE Will McDonald IV, RB Braelon Allen, and RB Isaiah Davis. Besides the loss to Arizona that started this losing streak, every game was a one-score game in which the Jets blew leads.
Disappointment Prevails. The Jets lose to seahawks, 26-21
A miserable season for the Jets continues to find new ways to disappoint and depress fans. On a cold December afternoon, the New York Jets would return from their bye week in their all-black alternate jerseys, hosting the Seattle Seahawks. Although Seattle is on the other side of the country, Seahawk fans came in masses to support their team. There was almost an entire section full of Seahawk fans. The Jets would be facing four former Jets that now play in Seattle…
The Jets spook Houston on TNF, Keep season alive with win, 21-13
It's NOT OVER UNTIL IT'S OVER. The New York Jets have arrived and defeated the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football: Halloween Edition at MetLife Stadium, 21-13. It was an incredible win for the Jets, desperately needed for the team and their morale. Although the win, the first quarter was still the worst quarter I've seen this team play in person this season. It was horrible.
Tear it DOWN… The Jets fall to 2-6 after deflating loss to the Patriots, 25-22
It’s about time to come to terms with what this season has become for the New York Jets, which is a total disappointment. The Jets traveled to Foxborough for game two of their yearly series with AFC East divisional opponent, New England Patriots.
The Curse Continues. Jets lose on MNF to Buffalo, 23-20
6 Tri-State area teams played on Monday. The Yankees, Mets, Jets, Devils, Rangers and Islanders. Every team won besides the Jets.
For every big game, the Jets produce an even bigger loss. There are no excuses for the disappointment that Monday Night Football was for this franchise. It was expected to be one of the most critical games in the team's history, but they lost.
Classic Jets Heartbreak in London: The Jets lose to Minnesota, 23-17
Outcoached. Miscommunication. Messy.
Those were the three keys to the Jets' loss on Sunday to the Vikings in London. It was an early one for every American Jets fan who woke up on Sunday morning with a feeling of optimism. That there was a chance to come out of London victorious because it was a new week. Even if it is against the undefeated Sam Darnold-led Minnesota Vikings, there was still that new week optimism. That was until the first quarter.
